Modern Choson Editorial

"Modern Choson" is a 6 page editorial reflective of the work of Korean Choson Dynasty painter Shin Yun-bok. He practiced the genre painting style, depicting the daily life of the court and townspeople.
These illustrations are a modern take on his images featuring more modern korean women in modern designer garments, including: Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, Jason Wu, Tom Ford, Lanvin, and Erdem. Medium: ink and watercolor.
